Hans Henrik Lund is currently Director and founder of Church Integration Ministries (KIT), Denmark. This is an interdenominational evangelical ministry which is helping more than 200 new immigrant and international churches in Denmark. KIT also works with: trafficking victims, Youth, UN refugees, Women’s projects and Development and Relief projects in other countries. KIT is an official hearing partner of the Danish Integration Ministry.
Hans’ vision is to: To see the Kingdom of God come in the world, in a healthy and relevant way. To see churches working together to reach the world with the gospel and helping to change the world to make it a better, righteous and more peaceful place in which to live.
Hans studied Theology at the Danish Baptist Seminary and also completed post graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. He recently gained an MPA: Master of Public Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
After graduating from Seminary in the late 1980s, Hans has broadened his experience considerably: he was Youth Consultant for the Danish Baptist Youth Department for three years (leading 70 young people in full-time evangelistic ministry); alongside this role he also planted and pastored City Church, Copenhagen. He was pastor there for more than 13 years. During 2000 to 2004, Hans was Church Consultant in the Baptist Union of Denmark and Director for Natural Church Development, also in Denmark.
Hans’ current offices include:
- Vice president of Danish Evangelical Alliance
- Member of board and spokesman of Free Church Net in Denmark. The biggest evangelical free church movement in Denmark
- Member of the European Evangelical Executive Board. (Term ends in 2008)
- Member of the Executive of Danish Refugee Counsel
- Member of the Home mission Board of the Danish Baptist Union
Hans is 46 years old and married to Birgitte, they have 3 teenage children and live in Denmark. His interests include: politics, bicycles, friends, social events, soccer (when Denmark is playing) and church affairs.
