Caribbean: Thanks from Grand Cayman

August 22, 2007

Pastor Al Ebanks in Grand Cayman has written, “I can now report that while there has been some damage on Grand Cayman most of it is on the South Coast ocean front area of the island. Most of this property is quite expensive and owned by some of the more affluent members of the community who most likely have insurance. Damage is minimal in comparison to Hurricane Ivan. I took a drive around the island today and must say I was from reports received as well as observations Cayman has much to give God thanks for once again. Our hearts and prayers go out to those in St. Lucia, Dominica, Martinique Jamaica, and any others including the Yucatan Peninsula whose lives were or are being disrupted by this powerful storm. On behalf of the saints and people of the Cayman Islands our heartfelt and sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have prayed and expressed concern on our behalf.”
