The Good Lie: Be Inspired to Make a Difference in Other People's Lives

October 3, 2014

Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe, Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance, speaks about 'the Good Lie' - a movie that illustrates the story of some of 'The Lost Boys' of South Sudan: Orphaned children and young men and women who were brough to the United States due to the civil war in Sudan that began in 1983.

"I was moved by the film because it humanizes a story. It shows the difference that one or two people can make for others," Dr. Tunnicliffe says, reflecting on today's situation where various emergencies might cause people to feel overwhelmed and think that there is nothing they can do. So he encourages the viewers to take action: "It's a call to action. Watch the movie and be inspired to do something to make a difference in people's lives."
