Blessed Easter greetings to you all- Christ is Risen! Our 21st century world is poised to decimate the glorious message of our Risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The turmoil of the world is palpable; the world is in confusion and live with paradoxes—apostasy and spiritual hunger, despair and frustration over apparent triumph of evil and human suffering. The so-called ‘Christian West’ now takes offense for anyone daring to even associate that part of the world with Christianity.
We celebrate another Easter at a time when our continent is facing numerous challenges; intensifying acts of terrorism in the horn of Africa, epidemic and terrorism in West Africa, conflict with attendant humanitarian crisis in South Sudan and Central Africa Republic, and countless other situations of despair.... Read more
AEA BUILDING PROJECT: BUILDING ON THE PROMISE 
The Association of Evangelicals in Africa is excited about the progress of the proposed new AEA centre on Valley Road, in the Upper hill area of Nairobi. Upper Hill is one of the most sought after locations in Nairobi and AEA intends to take advantage of this. NEW HEAD OF AEA MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM COMMISSION
Ezekiel N. Jako was born in Vihiga County in Kenya in 1962. He is married to Dutea and God has blessed them with two daughters: Ruth Dawn (21 years) and Melanie Margaret (18 years). He holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from Pan Africa Christian University (1990) and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Education from Bethany International University, in Singapore (1999). RELIGION: SOURCE OF CONFLICT OR PLATFORM FOR PEACE-MAKING? THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC EXPERIENCE
Currently, Central Africa Republic (CAR) is experiencing the worst crisis in its history.  The harmful effects of religion being manipulated for political purposes are alarming. More striking is the campaign for peace of the religious leaders of CAR, with the President of the National Evangelical Alliance playing a significant role. From initiating the process of reconciliation in remote villages, to high level meetings internationally, the heads of the Protestant, Catholic and Muslim communities work together tirelessly for months on end to restore the social fabric of their country. AFRICAN FAITH LEADERS POSITION ON POST 2015 DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK
AEA participated in a technical meeting on Africa Faith Leaders’ Position on the Post 2015 Development Framework held at the Desmond Tutu Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya from the 9th to 10 April 2014. AEA is part of the Steering Committee of the initiative and played a key role at the meeting with the AEA General Secretary Rev. REFUGEE HIGHWAY ROUNDTABLE: CONVENING TO COLLABORATE
The Refugee Highway Roundtable event was held in Kampala, Uganda from the 24th to the 26th of April 2014. The event was organised by the Refugee Highway Partnership, an organization that focuses on refugee ministry in Africa, in conjunction with the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), the World Evangelical Alliance, Leadership 555, and REACT Services. The theme for the roundtable meeting was `Convening to Collaborate` with the aim of introducing refugee ministries to each other, sharing information, best practices, and resources while shaping the focus of the Refugee Highway Partnership in Africa....Read more
