Dates for Duke Summer Institute ‘Ministry of Reconciliation in a Divided World’ Announced

January 17, 2012

Duke Summer Institute of the Center for Reconciliation has announced that this year’s gathering will be held from May 28th to June 2nd.

This one-of-a-kind, five-day intensive, hosted by WEA Peace and Reconciliation Initiative partner the Duke Divinity School Center for Reconciliation, is designed to nourish, renew, and deepen the capacities of U.S. and international Christian leaders in the ministry of reconciliation, justice, and peace.  Limited to 150 participants and held in the restful setting of Duke University, the Summer Institute offers a community of learning among diverse peers and intimate interaction with a leading faculty of practitioners and theologians. You will experience in-depth teaching, prayer and worship, shared meals, wrestling with real contexts and challenges, and opportunity to reflect on your own vocation and setting.

The web site and application are now live for the 4th . Groups of three or more leaders from the same church, ministry, or institution have found the institute especially meaningful.

Limited scholarships are available.
